Chocolate Covered Pretzels

I love making these for my friends and family at Christmas time, I always get great reviews on theses little babies. Salty meets sweet so delicious! Even the most inexperienced cook can make theses, just follow these easy steps 🙂

Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Chocolate Covered Pretzels   Here’s what you will need

Chocolate Covered Pretzels   Melt chocolate wafers in a double boiler (I made one by filling the pot half full and letting it come to a simmer.  Then placed a stainless steel bowl with the chocolate in it to melt over top)

Chocolate covered pretzels, great Christmas treat!


  • stick pretzels
  • milk chocolate wafers
  • white chocolate wafers
  • coloured sugar sprinkles (I used red and green because it was Christmas time)


  1. Use only full stick pretzels, not ones that are broken.
  2. Melt milk chocolate wafers in a double boiler. To make a double boiler bring a pot of water to a simmer and place stainless steel bowl over top. Place chocolate in the bowl and continuously stir.
  3. When chocolate is melted dip pretzels , leaving half inch for a handle chocolate free.
  4. Then place dipped pretzel on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and cool in the freezer for a faster way to cool down.
  5. Then drizzle melted white chocolate over the already dipped pretzels.
  6. Flash pretzels in the freezer and your done
